Standard PCs

Next to the Printers in the library are a block of 20 ‘standard Windows PCs’.

These computers all offer basic office applications (including Word, Powerpoint, etc), along with internet browsers (including Zotero addons), and printing.

‘High Spec PCs’

On the second row of journal stacks going up the library there are 3 ‘High Spec Windows PCs’. These are located on the desks nearest the glass dividing the library from the ramp leading to the theatre.

These computers offer (in addition to the software available on the ‘Standard PCs’) the Adobe Creative Suite (including Premiere Pro for video editing, and Adobe Audition for audio editing). They also include Dartfish.

You can print from these computers in the standard way.

Other multimedia editing computers can be found in the AV Edit Suite.

Library Mac Minis

Next to the Windows High Spec PCs on the second row of the library are 2 Mac Minis.

These offer access to some Mac only software such as iMovie, GarageBand, and LabanWriter. Please note that they do NOT have the Adobe suite installed.

Printing from the Mac Minis should be done via the web print portal.
