This article details the duration of time that equipment, from the Faculty of Dance Library, can be borrowed. As the year progresses, the duration of these bookings may change. We will update this page throughout the year.
Standard Equipment
All students must complete the online Standard Equipment Training Course training in order to be able to borrow equipment from the Faculty of Dance.
Standard Video Cameras
- Standard Video Camera 1 can be booked for up to four days
- Standard Video Camera 2 can be booked for up to four days
- Standard Video Camera 3 can be booked for up to four days
- Standard Video Camera 5 can be booked for up to four days
- Standard Video Camera 8 can be booked for up to seven days
- Standard Video Camera 9 can be booked for up to seven days
- Standard Video Camera 10 can be booked for up to seven days
- Standard Video Camera 11 can be booked for up to seven days
Accessories such as tripods can also be borrowed for the total length of your booking.
Pro Video Cameras
- Pro Video Camera 1 can be booked for up to four days
- Pro Video Camera 2 can be booked for up to four days
- Pro Video Camera 3 can be booked for up to seven days
- Pro Video Camera 4 can be booked for up to seven days
Accessories such as tripods can also be borrowed for the total length of your booking.
GoPro Cameras
- GoPro 1 can be booked for up to four days
- GoPro 2 can be booked for up to seven days
- GoPro Hero 11 can be booked for up to four days
Accessories such as GoPro mounts can also be borrowed for the total length of your booking.
Projectors
- Projector 1 can be booked for up to four days
- Projector 2 can be booked for up to four days
- Projector 3 can be booked for up to four days
- Projector 4 can be booked for up to four days
- Projector 5 can be booked for up to four days
- Projector 6 can be booked for up to four days
- Projector 7 can be booked for up to seven days
- Projector 8 can be booked for up to seven days
Stills Cameras
- Stills Camera 1 can be booked for up to two days
- Stills Camera 2 can be booked for up to two days
Audio Recorders
- Audio Recorder 1 can be booked for up to four days
- Audio Recorder 2 can be booked for up to four days
- Audio Recorder 3 can be booked for up to seven days
Portable Speakers
- Portable Speakers set 1 can be booked for up to four days
- Portable Speakers set 2 can be booked for up to four days
Webcams
- Webcam 1 can be booked for up to one day (twenty-four hours)
- Webcam 2 can be booked for up to one day (twenty-four hours)
AV Laptops
- AV Laptops can be booked for up to four days
Teaching Equipment
This equipment is intended for dance teaching only. We ask these kits remain in The Laban Building at all times. These can be booked via the eQuip Booking System.

Teaching Kits
- Teaching Kits (Standard Video Camera) can be self booked for up to four hours
All Teaching Kits contain either one standard or wide angle video camera, a tripod, two batteries, a SD card, and an eStream form. Please note, the wide-angle video cameras are better suited to the large studio spaces.
Hybrid Kit
- Hybrid Kit 1 can be self-booked for up to six hours.
Borrowing items for longer durations
We understand that you may be working continuously on a project for a concentrated period of time, so may require items for longer than you can self-book time with them.
If this is the case, please place the initial booking for as long as you can, and then (before collecting the items) email avsupport.dance@trinitylaban.ac.uk with the date/time of when you’d like to return the item(s) and reasons why the standard booking limits aren’t suitable.
We will assess each request separately based upon other demand for the item, but do not guarantee that we will be able to agree extended loans for all bookings.
